Swedish Therapeutic Massage
Massage has many benefits, both physical and emotional. It relaxes the body, by using a variety of specific moves. This then helps calm the nervous system and improves the circulation. Pain can often build up in the neck and shoulder area, and massage can help break down tension and knots of tight muscle. When we fail to manage stress, it can lead to worry, frustration and burn out. Taking time out to switch off and benefit from a massage can be a preventative measure. After a massage session, of working on the back, head, neck & shoulders, arms & hands, legs and feet your body will feel relaxed, energised and renewed.
Reflexology
The feet are a perfect mini map of the body. This is because the structure of the organs, glands and body parts are laid out in the same arrangement in the feet. Reflexology uses gentle pressure on the feet, to work on specific reflex points corresponding in the body. It is not massage, but massage strokes are woven into the routine. The result is a deeply relaxing therapy, where subtle energy flows through the body. This is a holistic treatment, not a medical one, but can be used to channel healing. Other benefits of reflexology include reducing stress, improving circulation in the feet, legs and whole body; Cleansing the body of toxins, and balancing & revitalising the body system. Your feet will feel alive post a reflexology treatment.

I use high quality massage oils, with no parabens or synthetic fragrances, with an almond oil base. This contains soothing essential oils and restores elasticity to dry skin.

Cancellation & Payment Policy
As a matter of courtesy, please give me at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your therapy session. I will try and reschedule your appointment. No show bookings will be charged the full amount.
Please make payments within 24 hours of a session. I accept cash or BACS.
Useful Information for before and after your Treatment
Please arrive for your session on time. Allow yourself some breathing space, you don’t want to arrive late and stressed.
All sessions start with a 10 to 15 minute consultation , prior to the therapy session beginning. This allows me to discuss any injuries or health issues on the day, and is a quick catch up and connect. With the first session this will take the full 15 minutes , as all new clients need to fill out a confidential heath questionnaire.
Please avoid any heavy meals before a therapy session, eat a light snack only, at least an hour beforehand.
Wear comfortable and loose fitting clothes. (Do not worry about washing your hair, massage sessions include an Indian head and scalp massage).
Afterwards try and relax, you will feel calm, and maybe a little zoned out. Keep hydrated, and avoid rushing around for a few hours. Many clients report back to me how well they have slept, post a therapy session.
